The following cases were closed from Oct. 31 to Nov. 4 in Knox County Unified Court:

John P. Smith, 34, West Gardiner, stealing drugs, 30 days in jail; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, 30 days in jail.

Amber T. Quinn, 41, North Haven, operating under the influence (alcohol), $500 fine, 72 hours in jail, stayed until Nov. 9, license suspended 150 days; two counts of violating condition of release, two 72-hour jail sentences, stayed until Nov. 9.

Derek Stephen Webster, 30, Thomaston, operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine.

Kelly J. Nichols, 51, Waldoboro, operating under the influence (alcohol) – no test, one prior, $700 fine, 30 days in jail, license suspended three years, registration suspended; operating while license suspended or revoked – OUI, $600 fine, 30 days in jail, license suspended one year.

Joseph H. Bates, 50, Rockland, aggravated assault, dismissed; assault, $300 fine, 180 days in jail, all suspended, one year probation.

Whitney Lopez, 21, Washington, criminal mischief, 72 hours in jail, $216 restitution; attaching false plates, 24 hours in jail; operation of defective vehicle, 24 hours in jail; failure to register vehicle, 24 hours in jail.

Peter A. Fuller, 23, Montville, violating condition of release, 48 hours in jail.

Paul D. Sullivan, 85, Rockland, violating protection from abuse order, 24 hours in jail.
