The holidays are coming up, and Friday, Dec. 2, you’ll see floats of all kinds rounding the corner on Elm Street as the make their way down Main Street during the 30th annual Christmas By the Sea Parade.

The final float will let Santa off near the library where everyone will gather at Harbor Park for the annual Christmas Tree lighting. Santa will lead the countdown and the caroling, and will launch Camden’s 30th annual Christmas By the Sea celebration!

Organizations that would like to have a float in the parade can stop by the Chamber or the Town Office to pick up a form, or sign up online on the “Experience Camden Maine/events” website. The policy of the town and police department is that all floats and vehicles must register in advance of the parade.
