Federated Church sets Harvest Fair for Nov. 12

THOMASTON — Federated Church, 8 Hyler St.,  holds a Harvest Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 12. The event  includes attic treasures, toiletries, books and baked goods. Free refreshments served.

Flu-shot clinic scheduled for Nov. 15

UNION — Hammond Tractor, at the intersection of routes 17 and 131, will hold a flu-shot clinic Nov. 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., with shots provided by Rite Aid Pharmacy. Cost is $25, which may be covered by insurance; bring insurance card. Must be at least 9 years old to receive shot.

Church fair to offer cornucopia of foods Nov. 19

FRIENDSHIP — Friendship United Methodist Church, 8 Shipyard Road (Route 97),  holds its fall fair Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to noon. The fair will feature beans, breads, cakes, cookies, candies, jams, meatloaves, pickles, pies, plus knits, crafts and gifts.

School plans craft fair for Thanksgiving weekend

FRIENDSHIP — Friendship Village School, 23 School St., holds its craft fair Nov. 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fair will feature a wide assortment of crafters and product vendors, plus a basket raffle. Lobster rolls and bake sale also available.

Festival of LIghts craft show to benefit shelter animals Nov. 26

ROCKLAND — Pope Memorial Humane Society holds its 37th annual Festival of Lights Craft Show at the Rockland Elks Club, 210 Rankin St., Nov. 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.. Admission is $2 and children under 12 are free. The Elks Lodge’s kitchen will be open and serving lunch for purchase. More than 40 artists from all over Maine will showcase their products, such as ornaments, jewelry, pottery, candles, clothing, pet accessories and more. Proceeds from the Festival of Lights Craft show will go toward feeding and providing medical attention to the homeless animals in PMHS’s care.
