The St. George River Café, 310 Main St. in the village, will host its monthly open mic and concert Friday, Nov. 11. Featured performer will be Bertie Koller of Whitefield.

Acoustic musicians are invited to play in the open mic, which begins at 6:30 p.m. Koller’s concert will begin at 8:30 p.m.

Koller is an exceptional singer/songwriter and guitarist who draws his original songs forth from a place of observation, experience and imagination. Influenced by the raw, straightforward approach of early American blues and folk music, as well as the gamut of past and contemporary songwriters and musicians, Koller's songs offer lyrical and rhythmic episodes of love, heartache, prophecy, reflection, the sun, moon, rivers, rain and so on.

There is a $6 suggested donation at the door; come early, as seating is limited. The St. George River Café serves delicious food and drink. For more information, call Kat Logan at 226-7446.
