A silent auction of nine uniquely decorated wreaths will be featured at St. Peter’s “Unique Boutique” Holiday Shopping event held Saturday, Nov. 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 11 White St.

The wreaths have been designed by local artists, crafters and local businesses, each with a distinct theme. Wreath designs from local stores include Clementine’s (bows and fabrics); Loyal Biscuit (pets); Flowers by Hoboken (the Maine woods); Snow Drop Confectioners, (a “sweet tooth”); Sea Gull Cottage (seashells); and local artists and crafters such as MABird Accessories, (a “partridge in a pear tree” and “St. Peter’s church mice”); John Bisignano (painted wooden birds); and Annie Mahoney (a flamboyant Mexican firebird). The  wreaths are artificial, so they can be re-used each season.

Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. shoppers and browsers may enter bids in the silent auction. The highest bidders will be awarded the wreaths at the closing of the fair at 3 p.m. Bidders may also submit a high and low bid if they will not be present at the auction closing at 3 p.m.

Fresh evergreen wreaths are also available for purchase at the fair, either plain, with a bow, or decorate your own wreath at the event. Wreath can also be purchased online at St. Peter’s website, stpetersrockland.org, or in person from Nov. 20 to Dec. 18 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the booth by the church parking area.
