Rock City Café, 316 Main St., will present Blue Gene & Cambo Friday, Nov. 11, from 7 to 9 p.m. The duo plays acoustic slide blues guitar, harp and percussion. Blues fans have seen them tucked into a corner of Rock City on blues festival weekend’s Sunday morning; now they get to headline their own show.

Saturday, Nov. 12, Rock City will present Miners Creek from 7 to 9 p.m. The rocky coast of Maine and bluegrass music may seem worlds apart, that they come together in Miners Creek. Based in Rockport, the band offers a sound originating in the bluegrass tradition, but also gleaning from the folk revival of the 1960s, Latin chords and rhythms, classic rock, Appalachian and old timey tunes and classical music.

Food is available until closing. For more information on these and other events happening at the coffeebar/cafe, call 594-4123 or find it on Facebook.
