Appleton student accepted to early college

GREAT BARRINGTON, MASS. — It's not every day that students start college early, but for this Appleton, 16-year-old that's exactly the case. Vivian Robinson-Fisher earned a place in the fall 2016 entering class at Bard College at Simon's Rock.

Robinson-Fisher's academic and personal achievements stood out, securing her a spot at Simon's Rock this fall. The campus in Great Barrington, Mass. is home to over 400 bright and highly motivated students engaged in a rigorous college education. Early college students are on track to graduate from college one or two years ahead of their peers.

Brown enrolled at St. Lawrence University

CANTON, N.Y. — St. Lawrence University has welcomed Kienan Brown of Rockport as a member of the Class of 2020.

Brown attended Camden Hills Regional High School.

Approximately 570 students enrolled at St. Lawrence this fall, including 54 of whom represent 25 countries around the world. Fifty-five percent of students come from outside New York State, and 45 percent graduated in the top-10 percent of their high school class. More than 90 percent participated in athletics in high school, 77 percent volunteered or were involved with community service, and 37 percent participated in the arts.
