Members of the community are invited to take part in audition classes Sunday afternoon, Nov. 13, at Kinetic Energy Alive, 255 Molyneaux Road, Camden. The sessions are free, and preregistration is requested by Thursday, Nov. 10.

No experience is necessary. The free classes are offered to any and all interested in learning a new dance style, some choreography and all about Kinetic Energy Alive Dance Productions’ “The Lion King,” an original dance/theater adaptation to be presented in 2017. No one interested in being in the show will be “cut”; note that all cast members will be required to join an ongoing KEA class in Horton/Taylor technique.

For adults and youth age 12 and older, registration will be at noon and class at 12:30 p.m. For children age 5 to 11, registration will be at 2 p.m. and class at 2:30 p.m. To signup for the free audition class, visit Events at kineticenergyalive.com.
