The Hyssongs will present a concert of gospel music Sunday, Nov. 6, at 6 p.m. at Littlefield Memorial Baptist Church, 1 Waldo Ave.

Dell, Susan, and Richard Hyssong travel full-time as the award-winning Hyssongs. Their energetic family ministry combines vocal harmony, humor and brass instruments (trumpet and trombone).

The group has been singing together as a family for 20 years. In that time, the Hyssongs have received many accolades for their quality, inspirational Southern Gospel sound. They were awarded the Singing News Fan Award for 2014 Favorite New Trio at the National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. The Hyssongs have consistently placed songs on Southern Gospel radio charts. They have had many Top 40 songs; four Top-20s; and three Top 10s — “I Was Blind But Now I See,” "Lead Me To The Rock" and “Prepare to Be Amazed” on the Singing News Radio Chart.

The Hyssongs were the cover story in the March 2015 Singing News Magazine and have been featured in Christian Voice Magazine several times. Recently, they were listed among 10 artists by Absolutely, as ones to watch in 2015 and Top 10 Trio by Singing News Fans in 2015 and ‘16. The group also has been featured on Paul Heil's "The Gospel Greats" radio program.

In 2014, The Hyssongs had the opportunity to sing to an audience of more than 12,000 people on the main stage at the National Quartet Convention. They perform annually at Dollywood and Silver Dollar City; and do more than 250 events each year throughout the United States and Canada.
