Fright at the Fort concludes Friday and Saturday, Oct. 28 and 29, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Fort Knox State Historic Site, Route 174. The theme of this year's Fright is Out of This World. To avoid long lines of the last night of Fright, event attendees are encouraged to come to the event on Friday as they can.

On Saturday, the University of Maine's New Media Department will project lasers during Fright, an element postponed from last weekend. Immediately after Saturday's Fright concludes, one can travel over to Bucksport and see the Fright fireworks from the waterfront. Also on Saturday, those who wear their Halloween costume are eligible for small prizes.

Fright at the Fort, celebrating 17 years of screams, is mostly under cover and takes place rain or moonshine. To avoid waiting in line, buy advance tickets online at FrightXtix.com. Arrive by 8:30 p.m. to take in this year’s Fright.
