Phi Home Designs announced that the company will change its name to Phi Builders + Architects, a move that reflects the evolution of the growing design/build company. The new name helps better convey who we are as a company and our dedication to be the right choice for our clients and industry partners.

“Making a change like this signals a new phase for Phi,” said owner Bettina Doulton in a news release. “It gives us the opportunity to expand our operations and better serve our clients.”

Phi Builders + Architects is a construction company, an architecture firm, and also builders of custom cabinetry and furniture.

“When I joined Phi earlier this year, I really wanted to carve out a niche for our architecture business that gave us the latitude to work with a number of builders from all over the area,” said Peter Gross, architect. “We know that sometimes clients want us to design their home but have a different builder in mind and we honor that. Our name change is a signal to all that if you have us design your home, you don’t necessarily have to have us build it.”

To celebrate the new name, Phi Builders + Architects is renovating its Rockport showroom to deliver an enhanced customer experience. The new showroom design will better present the capabilities of each division of the company.

“We’re looking forward to what feels like a progressive evolution for our business,” said Bob Talbot, marketing and development director. “Over the years we’ve always worked to grow to meet the needs of our expanding client base and the changes we are making right now will go a long way to help us exceed expectations across the board.”
