Waldoboro police officers responded to 103 calls for service between Oct. 11 and Oct. 17. Below are a few of the highlights.

Oct. 12

Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated a report that someone broke into a residence and stole $16,400 worth of jewelry.

Oct. 14

Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated a report that someone keyed a car and truck.

Oct. 15

Sgt. Jamie Wilson investigated an accident on Manktown Road at 6:10 p.m. Adam Saunders, 34, of Union, was pulling onto Manktown Road from a driveway in a 2012 Kia sedan and accelerated heavily because another vehicle was coming up behind him. Saunders drifted into soft shoulder, over-corrected, and went off the road in the northbound ditch, striking several trees. Injuries were noted.
