Penobscot Language School, 28 Gay St., will celebrate Les Trois Glorieuses, an annual French wine harvest festival, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 4 and 5, with a French dinner, an auction and a French brunch.

Chef Manuel Mercier of Youngtown Inn in Lincolnville will prepare dinner, served at 6 p.m. Nov. 4, immediately followed by an auction of fine wine and art featuring the work of Bo Bartlett, Betsy Eby, Bjorn Runquist, Nanfei Wang, Jack McKenney, Alan Clark, and others, as well as wines donated by RAYR, the wine shop, and The Market Basket of Rockport, The Wine Seller of Rockland, Treats of Wiscassett, Lily, Lupine and Fern of Camden and Breakwater Vineyards of Owls Head.

Laura Cabot of Laura Cabot Catering in Waldoboro will prepare a full French brunch Saturday, Nov. 5, using fresh produce donated by Beth’s Farm Market, Bowden Egg Farm and Hope Orchards, as well as coffee and baked goods donated by Rock City. Included on the menu are crêpes with sweet and savory fillings, croissants, salad, seasonal dessert and beverages.

Entrance to the dinner and auction are by reservation only at $50 per person, with an entrée choice made at the time of reservation. The brunch is a drop-in event open to the public from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at $25 per person.
