Ashwood Waldorf School’s fifteenth annual All Hallows’ Eve Walk will take place at the school Friday, Oct. 28, from 5 to 7 p.m.

This is a free, family event, where all are invited to discover an enchanted forest full of magical, mysterious characters. Young children and their parents may wend their way along a path and view scenes from myths, legends, and fairy tales. The mood is festive, not scary (although visitors may encounter a large spider at walk's end!). Everyone is encouraged to come in costume, preferably homemade; please avoid frightening masks or costumes.

There will be two guided walks during the evening: at 5:20 and 6 p.m. Before and after the walks, there will be storytelling for younger children, and for those ages 9 to 14 years. Music and a bonfire round out the evening.

To preserve the enchanted mood of the event, organizers kindly ask that there be no flash photography, flashlights, or cellphones.

Hard rain cancels; check Ashwood Waldorf School's Facebook page to confirm.
