Photographer and Island Institute co-founder Peter Ralston spent a month this summer exploring the west coast of Greenland and the Canadian Arctic.

During his travels, Ralston was struck by the austere beauty and overwhelming scale of the landscapes. He also had a chance to visit Inuit villages and hunting camps and found himself more interested than ever in matters related to climate change.

Join him on Thursday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m. at Rockport Opera House as he shows the photographs of a remarkable journey.

This program is part of the Rockport Public Library's month long Seafaring Series. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Rockport Public Library and will be held at the Rockport Opera House.
