Georges River Land Trust and Medomak Valley Land Trust will host a guided hike Saturday, Oct. 15, at 5 p.m. on MVLT's trail on the blueberry lands of Clarry Hill in Union, which is the watershed divide between the St. George River and the Medomak River. The trail provides access to fields and forest and offers spectacular views of both watersheds and beyond. Hikers will meet at the Clarry Hill trailhead on Elmer Hart Road. The trail is 2.5 miles out and back and covers moderate terrain. For more information, call GRLT at 594-5166 or MVLT at 832-5570.

This event is free and open to the public. Participants will catch the sunset and the moonrise, in addition to the fall colors. Participants are asked to wear appropriate hiking footwear and to bring a light, water and a snack. This event is also part of the Georges River Land Trust’s series of free and educational Walks and Talks.
