Waldoboro Public Library, 958 Main St./Route 220, will welcome retired physician-turned medical-thriller-novelist Tess Gerritsen Saturday, Oct. 15, at 1 p.m. for a much-anticipated visit.

The New York Times bestselling author, and creator of television crime-fighting duo Rizzoli and Isles, will have attendees on the edge of their seats as she reads from her newest stand-alone novel, “Playing with Fire.” She also will be signing copies of her books for all of her devoted readers.
