Gray Fox Gallery, 429 Main St., will host a reception and exhibition by two very intriguing artists during the First Friday Art Walk Oct. 7, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Steve Burns plays with bronze images of spaceships and dinosaurs in his sculptures. He draws from natural history, fantasy, myth and technology to synthesize a statement about the human condition and evolution.

Faces and figures, color and form are elements expressed in the work of Barbara Burns. The award-winning artist uses the ancient techniques of handwoven tapestry as a springboard to create contemporary art. Burns' tapestries have been exhibited nationally and internationally from New York to Europe and Australia.
