“The Garden of Earthly Delights,” a special group show curated by Chris Augusta and Dick Koubek to mark the 500th anniversary of the death of Heironymus Bosch, will go on view Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Tidemark Gallery, 902 Main St./Route 220.

Selected works by 14 artists will be up through Nov. 5. The artist’s reception will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, from 4 to 7 p.m., as part of ArtWalk Waldoboro.

While Bosch was one of the most influential artists of his time and place — 16th-century Netherlands — this show does not intend to imitate, but to acknowledge the complexities of life in very different ways.
