The Sail, Power and Steam Museum at Sharp’s Point South will present a concert by the Belfast Bay Fiddlers Friday, Sept. 30, at 7:30 p.m.

The loosely organized group of amateur musicians is devoted to playing and sharing traditional fiddle music; this concert features Rick Fitzsimmons. Belfast Bay Fiddlers’ instruments range from fiddles, mandolins, recorders and whistles to guitars, banjos, accordion and percussion.

The group usually plays fiddle tunes from the New England contra dance tradition. The Belfast Bay Fiddlers perform at many local events, including contra dances for school children, summer festivals and at nursing homes.

Tickets are $15, in advance or at the door. Sharp’s Point South and the Sail, Power and Steam Museum are at 75 Mechanic St. For more information on the museum and its programs, call 701-7627 or 596-0200; email; or visit
