Camden Public Library will host approximately 50 artists at its annual Fall Harbor Arts & Books Fair Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 1 and 2, in the Camden Amphitheatre and Harbor Park along Atlantic Avenue. Hours are Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Concurrently, there will be a used book sale on the front lawn of Camden Public Library. In addition to the weekend, the book portion of the fair will be up and running Friday, Sept. 30, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The arts and crafts have been selected by a juried process; there will be new exhibitors this year and some who have been at the fair in the past. All will display their work in individual tents. The fair will feature a wide variety of artwork and crafts, from items to decorate the home or office to clothes to wear throughout the four seasons.

Exhibitors come from throughout the East Coast. Art patrons will find works in watercolor, oils and acrylics, as well as photography, sculpture and mixed media. Fans of handcrafted wares can shop for pottery, glass, woodcrafts, jewelry and furniture. Fiber artists will be in abundance with a wide selection of handwoven sweaters, gloves, scarves and more.

Harbor Arts & Books Fair is an admission-free, family-friendly event, supported by the Reny Charitable Foundation. For more information, call the library at 236-3440.
