Doug and Barbara James will share photos of their travels through the Galapagos islands at Merryspring Nature Center Tuesday, Sept. 27, at noon.

The Galapagos Islands are known for their wealth of creatures having no fear of humans, many of which are found nowhere else on earth. Travel with Barb and Doug James as they take you to these unique islands through photographs and commentary.

Their presentation will focus on the islands' origins, the wide variety of resident species/subspecies and their vulnerability to the islands' ever-changing climatic conditions.

Barb and Doug James live in Western Massachusetts where Doug is an award winning photographer and Barb enjoys writing. Presently they are working on a series of children's books in verse and photographs.

This lecture is part of the Summer Talk series at Merryspring, sponsored by The First National Bank. Admission to Tuesday talks is $5, with free admission for members of Merryspring.
