Jim Derby, Waldoborough Historical Society trustee and barn restoration expert, will lead a barn tour Saturday, Sept. 24, beginning at 8 a.m.

The tour is sponsored by the society and includes four local barns. It is free to the public. Those wishing to participate should meet at the museum site on Main Street (Route 220 south) at 8. The tour will be by vehicles. This event has been scheduled because of the many positive comments that Derby and the trustees received on the tour he led two years ago.

The museum will be open from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 24 and 25, and the “Waldoboro’s Past in Photos” 18-month calendar will be available for purchase at the Hauck/Bailey Building on site.
