The Sail, Power and Steam Museum at Sharp’s Point South will screen the locally-filmed 1977 TV movie adaptation of “Captains Courageous”  Friday, Sept. 23, at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

The made-for-TV movie features Karl Malden, Ricardo Montalban, Fred Gwynne and Fritz Weaver. The screening will be followed by a discussion about the film and all the Camdenites who were stand-ins for the production.
