Forgotten victims of America’s gun violence epidemic will be remembered through The Concert Across America, a series of live music events from coast to coast. Locally, the concert will take place Sunday, Sept. 25, at 4 p.m. at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 11 White St.

St. Peter’s and other Rockland-area congregations are coming together under the auspices of the Episcopal Diocese of Maine, Faiths United and Bishops United Against Gun Violence, to “raise the volume on the national effort to save lives from gun violence.” The approximately hour-long program of music, poetry, spoken words and prayers will be followed with a reception in the church’s parish hall.

All are welcome. St. Peter’s is located next to Rockland Public Library. For more information, call 594-8191 or email stpeters@stpetersrockland.org.
