The Camden Hills boys and girls cross-country teams, along with squads from four other schools, converged on Brunswick High School to participate in a five-team meet Wednesday, Sept. 14 — which saw a terrific performance by the Windjammer girls.

The ‘Jammer girls finished first overall and had five of the top 10 overall finishers, amassing 31 points on the day.

The ‘Jammer boys finished fourth, with the host Dragons finishing first.

Mt. Ararat of Topsham, Morse of Bath and Maine Central Institute of Pittsfield also participated. The Huskies did not score as a team due to a shortage of runners.

Girls team scores were: Camden Hills 31, Brunswick 57, Mt. Ararat 63 and Morse 66.

Boys team scores were: Brunswick 28, Mt. Ararat 39, Morse 60 and Camden Hills 85.
