The weekly Monday night blues series continues Sept. 19 with the Gretchen Bostrom Band at the downtown Time Out Pub, 275 Main St. The show starts at 7 p.m., and admission is $10 at the door.

Gretchen Bostrom is an accomplished R&B vocalist and songwriter based in Cambridge, Mass. A co-founder and lead vocalist for the band The Juke Joint 5 from 2008-2016, her powerful, soulful vocals, wide repertoire and energetic stage presence delight audiences everywhere.

Bostrom has been fortunate to share the stage with some of the finest musicians in New England and the Mississippi Delta. She and Silvertone Steve (formerly of J.B. Hutto & The New Hawks; guitarist for The Juke Joint 5) have an acoustic duo, Silvertone & Ms. G, which performs a mix of early rock ‘n’ roll, rockabilly, R&B and classic rock covers, as well as original music.

Upcoming in the weekly series are: Sept. 26, Victor Wainwright Band ($15); Oct. 3, Gene Taylor Band ($15); Oct. 10, double show with 24th Street Wailers and Jason Ricci bands ($20, starts 6 p.m.); Oct. 17, double show with Anthony Gomes Band and Joanna Connor Band ($15, starts 6 p.m. — note this follows a special Sunday, Oct. 16, show by Gomes, also $15/6 p.m.); Oct. 24, Regina Bonelli Band ($10); and another Halloween Party with Harper Oct. 31 ($15).
