The Knox-Lincoln County Extension Association annual meeting will be held at Aldermere Farm, 70 Russell Ave., Rockport, Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The focus of this year’s meeting, which is free and open to the public, will combine land conservation, sustainable agriculture and community education.

Aldermere Farm, a working saltwater farm owned and maintained by Maine Coast Heritage Trust, includes a breeding program for Belted Galloway beef cattle and an education center. Farm manager and host Ron Howard will offer a tour of the farm beginning at 5 p.m., followed by refreshments and social time. University of Maine Cooperative Extension 4-H youth will then give presentations on their projects at the farm.

A regular KLCEA business meeting will be held from 7 to 7:30 p.m. Public comments on KLCEA programs are welcome.
