“3×4 at Pascal Hall,” featuring new works by Monica Kelly, Patty Bolz and Francois Poisson, will open Friday, Sept. 2, at 5 p.m. The gallery at 86 Pascal Ave. will be open for four weekends in September. Hours will be Fridays from 5 to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. through Sept. 25. The gallery also will be open by appointment during the week.

The collaborative show includes a new body of work by Kelly, oil on panel paintings created over the past three years after she decided to retreat from the gallery world. The new work represents a personal journey through a period of solitude and inner exploration of relationships, love and pain.

Jeweler Bolz will exhibit the first, second and fourth weekends of September, showing her highly respected one-of-a-kind pieces along with her traditional body of functional gemstone settings in gold and platinum. Bolz’s work is collected across the country and is influenced by the ancient designs of Egypt and the Byzantine cultures.

Poisson has been making his multimedia sculptures for decades while serving as head of the art department at Cheshire Academy in Connecticut. Poisson combines wood and metal work with tromp l’oeil painting to create vehicles in both the literal and metaphorical sense.
