Penobscot Language School, 28 Gay St., invites the public to a celebration of its 30 years of service to the local and global communities Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 6 p.m. The evening begins with a by-reservation-only traditional Thai meal prepared by Thai Tugboat. The full-course meal costs $35, with profits going to support school activities.

At 7:30 the doors open to the general public. Attendees may learn more about the fall lineup of courses and meet the graphic design student responsible for the school’s new logo. Isaiah Harriman, enrolled at the Midcoast School of Technology, created the winning design as part of the logo challenge made to the graphic design class of Brandon Soard. Penobscot School will present an award to Marriman, and a donation to benefit the MCST graphic design program. Refreshments will be served.

To make reservations for the meal featuring chicken Pad Thai, visit Events at penobscot.us or call 594-1084.
