The Rockland Metro radio show (WRFR, 93.3 FM) will discuss the nature of public service with Rockland City Councilor Valli Geiger Wednesday, Aug. 17, from 5 to 6 p.m.. Geiger has devoted much of her life to service through her work in nursing, health policy, sustainable design and local civic governance. The public is invited to call in and talk with her and WRFR host Nathan Davis.

Immediately following the interview, the Old School will host a dinner symposium to continue the discussion.

Each week, WRFR’s Rockland Metro show invites a guest to discuss life in Rockland. Guests often participate in an Old School dinner symposium following the show.

Dinner symposia at the Old School are free and open to the public. Participation in each symposium is limited to 12, so participants must reserve their place in advance. Participants are also asked to help by bringing food, helping prepare the event, and/or cleaning up afterward.

To reserve a place at the table for this dinner symposium, contact Nathan Davis at n.kroms.davis@gmail.com.
