Hatchet Mountain Publick House in Hope is offering an evening of dining to benefit Georges River Land Trust. Reservations are being accepted now for dinner on Wednesday, Aug. 31.

Hatchet Mountain Publick House has offered to donate a percentage of the proceeds from dinners on Aug. 31 to Georges River Land Trust. The donation will benefit the conservation and public access programs of the Land Trust.

This event is open to the public. Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made by calling the Hatchet Mountain Publick House at 763-4565, just let them know you are dining in support of Georges River Land Trust.

The Georges River Land Trust has conserved 3,400 acres of natural habitats and working lands in Knox and Waldo Counties in its 28-year history, and receives 90 percent of its support through private donations.
