The Music in the Park series will present presents Dusty & Joanna and Ray Montana in concert Sunday, Aug. 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Woolen Mill Park on Main Street.

Dusty & Joanna are an acoustic duo who have been playing music and living in the Midcoast area of Maine for the past dozen years. Joanna’s main instrument is her voice, but she also plays the six-string guitar. Dusty’s main instrument is the autoharp, which he plays in a way one might not have heard in grade school. He also plays the guitar and mandolin.

Together, Dusty & Joanna blend their voices in rich harmonies. Their repertoire is an eclectic mix of songs ranging from The Carter Family and folk songs to gospel, bluegrass and songs of the sea.

Montana, joining them on bass, started performing in his teens with rock ‘n’ roll and has branched out into Celtic and jazz music, in addition to performing with Dusty & Joanna.

Everyone is invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. There will be a Porta-Potty on site.
