The annual Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors Show will run Friday through Sunday, Aug. 12 through 14, in Rockland Harbor Park and along the waterfront. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Gates open 10 a.m. daily. Tickets are $12, free for children younger than 12; multi-day passes are available.

This year’s show offers Afternoon Tunes both Saturday and Sunday in the tent at Buoy Park; Blue Hill Brass plays Saturday and the Bel-Isle Trio plays Sunday. Saturday night has something new and exciting: a dance party with Boogat, held in a warehouse on Winter Street in collaboration with the Center for Maine Contemporary Art, Epifanes and WERU-FM (media sponsor) — see story linked below for details.

The show showcases beautiful boats, of course, but also is known for the bespoke furniture, one-of-a-kind jewelry, fine art, singular accessories and essential homewares.

The show works closely with sponsor Maine Made: America's Best, a state program that helps promote Maine products, to gather these craftspeople in one location. For a complete list of vendors, as well as more information about the show and tickets, call (800) 565-4951 or visit maineboats.com/boatshow. Note that no pets are allowed on show grounds (except the pre-selected Boatyard Dog Trials competitors Sunday only and bona fide service animals).
