Jackie McLean, who cut a musical theater swath during her years at Camden Hills Regional High School, performs these days as Roan Yellowthorn. She will play a Maine Lobster Festival set Friday, Aug. 5, at high noon on the main stage.

The New York-based singer/songwriter performs with her partner, drummer Shawn Strack. Her lyrical, piano-based songs have earned her comparisons to Regina Spektor and a young Joni Mitchell. A debut EP, “Roan Yellowthorn,” was released in April.
