The Rockport Town Office will be undergoing some renovations beginning Wednesday, Aug. 3 and likely running through Labor Day.

These renovations will include a new vestibule on the front of the entry that will make the lobby more energy efficient in both the summer and winter months, according to information provided by the town. Additionally, new paint and carpets will be installed in the Town Clerk’s office.

To accommodate the move, the Town Clerk’s office will be moving to the Richardson Room, which has its own entrance.

The Town Clerk’s office will be closed on Aug. 3 and Aug. 4 and will reopen on Aug. 5 in the Richardson Room. Code Enforcement, Planning, Assessing, Finance and the Town Manager’s Office will be open.

There will be new signage to direct residents to the correct door.
