Rose & The Wayfaring Strangers will play the July 27 Concert on the Lawn at the Rockport Masonic Center. The outdoor picnic concert series offers live, local music every Wednesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Rockport Masonic Center, 361 Main St.

The band’s style of music ranges from Hank Williams, Alan Jackson to Merle Haggard, some old ‘60s rock and a little bluegrass gospel thrown in.

The group features Kim Moran from Lincolnville (vocals, flute ); Wade Graham, Lincolnville (bass); Linda Stevenson from Warren (fiddle, vocals); Rosey Gerry from Lincolnville, (vocals, banjo, guitar); and special guest Dick Willman on pedal steel.

The Masons will be grilling of hamburgers, hot dogs and even some “garden burgers” plus beverage and, sometimes, beans for just $7. Everyone is invited to bring a chair and come on down. The event will be held inside in the case of rain.
