Watershed School invites all students, parents, and community members who would like to learn more about the school to an Open House Reception Tuesday, Aug. 2, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The open house, at 32 Washington St. in Camden will provide an opportunity to meet faculty and students, hear a description of the academic program, view student work, ask questions, and enjoy refreshments.

An independent high school serving Maine's Midcoast region, Watershed has a rigorous college-preparatory academic program focusing on project-based learning, foundational skills, and design thinking that build and contribute to intellectual courage for life-long learning.

Watershed’s network of learning opportunities includes athletics, design and engineering projects, collaboration with the Camden Conference, the town of Camden’s Energy Committee, Liberian Education Fund, local community efforts for social change, theater, music, and the arts.

A Watershed education is built on the principle that individual growth develops out of strong teacher–student relationships within the context of an engaged and enthusiastic school community.
