The Hope Haitian Choir will perform Thursday, Aug. 4, at 6:30 p.m. at Celebration Life Family Church, 3 Cross St. at Route 90.

The Hope Haitian Choir, comprising 15 children and five accompanying adults from Haiti, is doing a concert tour from Maine to Pennsylvania. Barb House directs the choir and has made several trips to Haiti to select and work with the children. Most of the music is original, written by House and singer/songwriter friend Fabry Christy.

The Hope Haitian Choir’s mission is to speak hope to America through the faith testimonies of those from Haiti; and give hope to Haiti through spiritual development and via practical help with education, food, water, medical care and other basic needs, always glorifying the name of Jesus Christ.

There will be an opportunity to share monetarily at the concert to benefit projects in Haiti such as starting a school and building a new well. For more information, visit hopehaitian.com or contact Celebration Life Family Church at 230-8126 or office@clfcne.com.
