Camden International Film Festival will hold its first Volunteer Info Night at Camden National Bank, the official sponsor of CIFF’s Volunteer Program, Wednesday, Aug. 3, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Camden National Bank’s Hanley Center, 245 Commercial St./Route 1.

Volunteer Info Night will offer individuals interested in volunteering for this year’s festival the opportunity to meet the organizers of CIFF and to learn more about the Camden International Film Festival, as well as the many ways to get involved. The evening will include a pizza dinner, courtesy of CIFF sponsor Flatbread Company.

CIFF comprises almost 200 volunteers who help make the festival possible every year. Enthusiastic individuals are welcome to join the team, and are invited to attend the Info Night to learn about the numerous opportunities available. Festival volunteers get the chance to gain experience in film festival planning, connecting with filmmakers and film industry leaders from around the world; see a selection of documentaries screened for the first time in New England or even the U.S.; and join local artists to transform barns and warehouses for CIFF parties.

In addition, volunteers have the opportunity to take part in CIFF’s annual Volunteer Trailer, which thanks the volunteers and runs before each public screening at the Festival. This year’s trailer will be shot Thursday, Aug. 4, from 3 to 6 p.m. Volunteers interested in participating are invited to contact festival producer Sarah Rogers at
