The Cushing Historical Society will present The Rusty Hinges Saturday, July 23, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Barn behind the society's Meeting House, on Hawthorn Point Road (off Pleasant Point Road).

The Rusty Hinges cooks up an exciting recipe of folk, oldies, country, contemporary and home-grown tunes. The Rusty Hinges, recently flavored with the addition of Charles Chiarchiaro on resophonic guitar; John Couch on guitar and bass; and Johnny Monterisi on guitar, complement the Midcoast tradition of Nan Jones on guitar, fiddle and penny whistle; Brian Dunn on mandolin and banjo; and Chuck McGregor on standup bass.

The new Rusty Hinges have more than 40 scheduled performances in Midcoast Maine this season and are performing in support of the preservation efforts of the historical society.
