As part of the Rockport 125th Anniversary Celebration, Maine Pro Musica will present a concert at the Rockport Opera House Saturday, July 30, at 7:30 p.m.

Maine Pro Musica is a professional orchestra that brings together musicians living in Maine to perform throughout the state. With an emphasis on education, the orchestra plays throughout the year, presenting top quality orchestral programs to communities throughout Maine.

For this celebratory concert, Music Director Janna Hymes has programmed a concert with a variety of music for audiences of all ages. The hour-long program will include music from “Frozen”; “76 Trombones”; and Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes” plus familiar and exciting classical pieces by Dvorak, Rossini, Piazzolla, Faure, Bizet and more.

Tickets for this concert for all ages are $25, $10 for students younger than 19. The box office at the Rockport Opera House, 6 Central St., will be open the day of the concert at 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Leonard’s Clothing Store, 23 Elm St./Route 1 in Camden.
