The Maine Outdoor Film Festival’s Broke & Stoked Video Contest for amateur Maine filmmakers is a free statewide video contest for high-energy, outdoor adventure shorts. Deadline for this year’s contest is before Monday, Aug. 1.

Videos submitted must be made by a Maine resident, or Maine residents, not working full-time in film; must be an outdoor video and must be less than four minutes long. All music used must be credited and used with permission. To submit, films must be emailed via Vimeo link to maineoutdoorfilm@gmail.com.

The MOFF jury will select its favorite 10 films, which will be screened at MOFF Tour stops throughout Maine this year, after which MOFF fans will vote online for their favorite. The film with the most audience votes will be announced at the MOFF Awards Show Dec. 9 at the Portland Museum of Art.

Finalists will get outdoor gear prize packs; and one grand prize of $1,000, underwritten by Skowhegan Savings, will be awarded. For more details, visit brokeandstokedcom.
