The public is invited to spend Sunday afternoon, Aug. 14, enjoying The Kelpie Gallery’s third annual Wet Paint on the ‘Weskeag plein air art auction. Tickets are on sale at georgesriver.org or by calling 594-5166.

The event will begin with a preview of the art, along with appetizers, drinks and live music, at 4 p.m. The auction of watershed-inspired artwork will kick off with dueling auctioneers Bruce Gamage and Kaja Veilleux at 5 p.m.

Advance tickets are $40; tickets at the door will be $50. Proceeds from the sale of “wet” art will benefit the artists and Georges River Land Trust’s conservation programs. GRLT is committed to protecting the ecosystems and traditional heritage of the Georges River watershed region.
