Waldoboro police officers responded to 266 calls for service between June 27 and July 12. Below are some of the highlights:

June 27

Officer Chris Spear arrested Andrew Hocking Jr., 55, of Waldoboro, for operating under the influence.

Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated a report that someone broke into a residence and items were taken.

Hesseltine investigated an accident on Manktown Road at 5:45 a.m. Wayne Ross, 38, of Waldoboro, was southbound in a 2002 GMC pickup truck when a deer ran out in front of him, and he struck the deer. No injuries were reported.

Hesseltine summoned Danny Koenig, 52, of Warren, for uninspected motor vehicle.

June 30

Hesseltine summoned Jonathan Bennett, 34, of Waldoboro, for uninspected motor vehicle.

Hesseltine investigated an accident on Washington Road at 12:40 p.m. David Sturdee, 27, of Nobleboro, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet van southbound, and driving in an erratic, careless, negligent or aggressive manner, causing vehicle to go off the road and strike some trees.

Hesseltine summoned David Sturdee, 27, of Nobleboro, for operating under the influence and operating without a license.

July 1

Spear arrested James Burgess, 26, of Waldoboro, for criminal mischief and refusing to submit to arrest/detention.

July 2

Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated a report of the theft of medication.

Spear arrested Ariana Scott, 24, of Rockport, on a warrant.

July 5

Hesseltine summoned Jeffrey Howard, 53, of Wiscasset, for speed and inadequate tires.

Spear summoned Bradford Davis, 40, of Waldoboro, for uninspected motor vehicle and failure to produce license.

Spear summoned George Ganson, 33, of Round Pond, for operating after suspension.

Spear arrested Evan Benner, 25, of Waldoboro, on a warrant.

Officer John Lash arrested Kenneth Judkins, 30, of Waldoboro, on a warrant.

July 6

Hesseltine investigated a report of an unwanted subject. Subject was found and warned on criminal trespass.

Spear arrested Michael McGuire, 47, of Waldoboro, on a warrant.

July 7

Hesseltine summoned Carlton Elliott, 27, of Waldoboro, for operating after suspension and speed.

Hesseltine summoned Allen Shenett, 50, of Washington, for speed.

Hesseltine summoned Steven Libby, 47, of Friendship, for operating after suspension.

July 9

Sgt. Jamie Wilson arrested Heidi Waning, 52, of Waldoboro, for a violation of conditional release.

July 11

Spear summoned Stephen Parmley, 64, of Waldoboro, for criminal trespass.

July 12

Hesseltine summoned Jeremy McPhee, 37, of Waldoboro, for uninspected motor vehicle and failure to show proof of insurance.

Hesseltine investigated a report from Atlantic Labs that someone vandalized some totes and barrels.
