The adventures in The Pizza Growers’ Community Garden continue at the Coastal Children's Museum, 75 Mechanic St., Thursday, July 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. For this workshop, kids will be learning about all the cool insects that can be found in their own backyards.

Entomologist Karen Coluzzi will be in the garden to explore and talk with kids about all of the little creatures they find in the garden. There will also be some regular maintenance of pulling weeds and watering the plants, and both parents and kids alike are welcome to lend a helping hand.

Anyone is welcome to come join in the fun. There will be workshops about gardening throughout the summer and a pizza party in the fall featuring all the veggies that have been grown. Families are welcome to help in the garden anytime and snack on the various veggies.

Admission is not required to participate in this workshop. For more information, email the museum at programs@coastalchildrensmuseum.org or phone 596-0300.
