Merryspring Nature Center will hold a free tree identification walk for families and children Thursday, July 21, at 11 a.m.

Led by Merryspring Program Director Brett Willard, guests will travel the woodland trails at Merryspring, learning to identify trees by both bark and leaves. This program is open for all ages, and is meant as an introduction to the native hardwood and conifer trees of Maine.

This program is part of the Free Family Programs series at Merryspring. Admission is free for everybody. No registration is required. Guests should wear weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes, and sunscreen.
