A myriad of arts will come together Thursday, July 21, beginning 7 p.m. at the Lincoln Street Center, 24 Lincoln St., as “Salt Stage Live” makes its premiere. The event is based on an archival project known as the Salt Stage, which features intimate filmic portraiture of artists, musicians, writers, thinkers, makers and more.

“Salt Stage Live” promises roots, folk-punk, Americana and new acoustic music; circus arts and dance; two- and three-dimensional art; and artisanal food and drink. The five announced acts are musicians Haas Kowert & Tice, Grant Gordy & Joe Walsh and Muddy Ruckus; Droplet Dance, featuring the Cyr Wheel and fiddle; and former Miss Coney Island Ekaterina Sknarina, contortion and burlesque artist. There will be surprise guests, as well, during what is sure to be one of the more unusual presentations of the Midcoast summer.

Is a presale-only ticketed event; the $15 tickets are available at saltstage.com.
