The Midcoast Brass Quintet will return to the Camden Amphitheatre for a free concert of classical, jazz, and popular music Thursday, July 21, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the outdoor performing space next to the Camden Library.

The Midcoast Brass Quintet is an annual favorite in the library’s Summer Music Series. The group features Megan Kennedy on trombone, Doug Kennedy on tuba, Carolyn Kanicki on horn; and Peter Stuart and Bruce Cole on trumpets. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for comfortable seating. In the case of rain, the concert will be held indoors in the library.

The concert will include selections from well-known composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, P.I. Tchaikovsky and Henry Filmore. The quintet also will debut numbers from famous artists Queen and The Beatles.
