Necessary Music Productions is working with The Midnight Riders, The Blame Hounds, The Speakeasy and FOG Bar & Cafe to bring music to town for the blues festival weekend.

On Friday, July 15, The Midnight Riders will perform outside on the patio of The Speakeasy, below the Eclipse Restaurant, 2 Park Drive, from 7 to 10 p.m. During the Saturday night club crawl, the band will play at another outdoor location, outside FOG Bar & Cafe on Oak Street from 9 p.m. to midnight. And on Sunday, July 17, band members Will Neils and Emmett Lalor will play acoustic Americana, roots and blues on The Speakeasy patio from 5 to 8 p.m.

Also on Sunday evening, Necessary Music brings The Blame Hounds back to a room they know well to host a blues jam beginning 8 p.m. at The Speakeasy. The Blame Hounds feature Paul Curtis, Phil Clement and Bill Faller, some of the musicians who started the jams 20 years ago.
